Thousands of Digital Memory-Keepers Celebrate First Annual Digital Scrapbooking Day
Windham, NH (November 12, 2007) - In an unprecedented community-wide effort, Digital Scrapbooking Day (DSD) was celebrated by hundreds of digital scrapbookers and other industry professionals on November 3rd, 2007. Partnering with leading industry manufacturers, service providers, website owners and bloggers, Triscape gathered resources to educate and inspire people to learn more about digital scrapbooking.
DSD received event coverage in at least 15 e-newsletters from major scrapbooking websites, such as: Scrapbooking.com, Digital Scrapbooking magazine blog, Memory Makers magazine blog, ScrapbookGraphics.com, Scrapbook-Bytes.com, CottageArts.com, The Digi Chick, Two Peas in a Bucket, DigiShopTalk, Scrap Outside the Box, RAK Scraps, and ScrapGirls.com. These sites also hosted their own activities.
Some statistics compiled from numbers reported by some participating websites:
- Over 2300 digital scrapbookers participated in various online Chats and Challenges
- Over 790 Digital Scrapbooking Layouts were posted in online galleries
- Over 900 visitors purchased something from participating Digital Scrapbooking Online Retail sites
- Participating online digital scrapbooking communities reported a combined total of over 25,400 site visitors over the course of Digital Scrapbooking Day.
The Shutterfly press release was posted to PRWeb.com, where it has had 933 full page views, and 305 PDF downloads.
